Who this page is about

This website is the public site for a construction business using the EstimatesApp platform. Two parties handle personal information. Fill in any line that still shows brackets.

The construction business on this website

  • Name: Carlos Z Construction and Renovation LLC
  • Address: 4200 W Cypress St, Suite 110, Tampa, FL 33607
  • Phone: (813) 555-0200
  • Email: info@carloszrenovation.com

These four lines come from Business Info in the admin settings. Brackets mean that field is still empty.

The platform operator

EstimatesApp hosts the software, the database, and the subscription billing. The repository configures an Azure AD domain of chicagosoftwareguys.com. It does not contain a legal entity name, mailing address, phone number, or public support email.

  • Legal entity: [legal entity name]
  • Address: [street address], [city, state, postal code]
  • Phone: [phone number]
  • Support email: [support email]

The service

EstimatesApp is software for construction businesses. A subscribing business gets a website, estimates, invoices, a client portal, and optional card payments. People who request an estimate or open a portal link are customers of that construction business.

Accounts

Tenant admins sign in with a one-time email code or with Microsoft. You are responsible for the email address on the account and for the estimates, prices, and marketing text you publish. The software does not review those claims for you.

Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed by Stripe. The price, tax, and renewal date are shown on the Stripe checkout page before you pay. This site does not display a separate price, because the amount charged is the Stripe price, not a number hard-coded in the page. You can cancel future renewals from Manage Billing, which opens Stripe's customer portal. See the Refund Policy for what cancellation does and does not do.

Client payments

If a business connects Stripe, its customers can pay an estimate or invoice by card. The amount is shown before payment. If the business chooses "customer pays the fee," the total includes a card processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30 and that total is the amount on the button. A platform fee (2.1% of the charge unless Stripe:DefaultCommissionPercent is set to something else) is taken from the business's payout. It is not added as an extra line on the customer's invoice.

A credit note in this app reduces the balance shown on an invoice. It does not, by itself, refund a card charge. Card refunds are issued in Stripe.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the service to break the law, send email or SMS without the consent this app records, or publish reviews or statistics you cannot support.
  • Do not upload images, fonts, or other files you do not have the right to use.
  • Do not attempt to access another tenant's data.

Estimates are not a contract until accepted

An estimate or proposal is an offer from the construction business. It becomes the business's agreement with its customer when that customer accepts it in the portal or signs it, under whatever terms the business wrote on the document. The platform operator is not a party to that job.

Availability

The service is provided as available. Outages, email delivery failures, and payment-processor declines can happen. Governing law: [state or country]. Venue: [courts].
